Special Screening on July 18: I am Jane Doe

July 11, 2017

The Community Foundation of New Jersey is proud to sponsor a special viewing of I am Jane Doe, the eye-opening documentary on human trafficking, in Morris Plains next week.

This film describes the long and painful legal process that trafficking victims and their families have endured to hold companies like Backpage.com responsible for their role in this awful crime. The families’ determination to fight is both an inspiration and a stirring reminder that we all have a role to play in eliminating this scourge from our communities.

You are invited to join us and the New Jersey Coalition Against Human Trafficking, Dreamcatchers, and the Morris County Human Relations Committee at this special screening.

Tuesday, July 18 at 7:00pm
Adath Shalom Synagogue
841 Mountain Way, Morris Plains, NJ

Following the film, Senator Tom Kean Jr. and Penny Venetis of Legal Momentum will join us for an engaging conversation on how the State of New Jersey and the Coalition are working to eliminate human trafficking.
