Do Good for Where You Do Well

Morris County is a distinct area of New Jersey defined more by landscapes, routes, and neighborhood connectivity than actual city and county lines. The interplay among the area’s communities lends the region wonderful opportunities, as well as a unique set of issues and challenges that define one community.

The Morris County Community Foundation was designed especially for the families, businesses, and foundations wishing to make an enduring difference in this area. As an affiliate of the Community Foundation of New Jersey, funds that charitable families and businesses establish with us will enable them to make tangible, beneficial changes in an area close to their hearts.

Our Purpose

Most community-focused areas across America have their very own Community Foundation. And for very good reason. Citizens concerned with the specific needs of a community can ensure that real, solid, particular change is enacted. For whom and where it matters most.

Donors now have the opportunity to support projects with impact for Morris County. Recent grants include:

  • Alfre Inc. for the Co-Occurring Care-Continue Quality Assurance Project for women in treatment for substance use & mental health disorders.
  • CASA of Morris & Sussex Counties for a volunteer recruitment and training program to assist community volunteers in advocating for children in foster care.
  • Children on the Green for a quality early childhood education program for homeless and disadvantaged children.
