This past weekend, hundreds of volunteers from across New Jersey – including many from the Community Foundation – worked to prepare hotels in the vicinity of the Meadowlands to stop human trafficking and forced prositution during the Super Bowl. But there’s still ways you can help leading up to and after the big game.
If you’d like to contribute to this important work, please contact Hans Dekker at 973-267-5533 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
But most of all, always be on the lookout for suspicious behavior. If you think you’ve witnessed any type of human trafficking, contact law enforcement and/or the National Human Trafficking hotline (888-373-7888). The National Human Trafficking Resource Center (NHTRC) is a national, toll-free hotline, available to answer calls and texts from anywhere in the country, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, every day of the year.
