Give to the Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund

August 28, 2017

Houston and much of southeast Texas have been pummeled by Hurricane Harvey, with more than two feet of rain in some spots and no relief in sight. More than 30,000 people are already in shelters, and FEMA expects up to a half million people will require assistance.

To help the rescue, recovery, and rebuilding efforts in Houston, please consider supporting the Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund at the Greater Houston Community Foundation.

This fund, similar to our own Hurricane Sandy Relief Fund in 2012, will accept donations for victims that have been affected by Hurricane Harvey, while thinking long-term about Houston’s full recovery. Houston will face enormous challenges in the short-, medium-, and long-term, but the time to give is now.
