Hurricane Ian Response

September 28, 2022

Community foundations are known for moving quickly to support those impacted by crises.

And that is certainly the case this week.

Today, as Hurricane Ian makes landfall in Florida, community foundations in the Sunshine State are already taking steps to support their communities in the wake of what is expected to be a devastating storm.

As you consider ways to help, visit the Community Foundation of Sarasota County’s Hurricane Ian Relief and Recovery Fund.

The Community Foundation of Tampa Bay is also preparing to assist with recovery efforts.

We’ll be thinking about our colleagues in Florida today and will be sharing additional updates, as events warrant.
