The Lillian G. Holmes Memorial Scholarship was established in 2017 in memory of Lillian G. Holmes, a mother of nine, who worked for over 20 years in the Orange, New Jersey Public School District. Mrs. Holmes instilled the important qualities of faith, respect, determination, education, and philanthropy in her children, and this scholarship serves to honor her memory.
The Lillian G. Holmes Memorial Scholarship Fund will provide a one-time scholarship in the amount of $2,000 to a graduating female high school senior from Orange High School who is attending college/university on a full-time basis.
