June 18, 2015

The Community Foundation of New Jersey (CFNJ) today announced that Tamara L. Linde, Executive Vice President and General Counsel for Public Service Enterprise Group Incorporated (PSEG), has joined its Board of Trustees.

As chief legal officer for the PSEG family of companies, Ms. Linde has responsibility for all legal and regulatory functions of New Jersey’s oldest and largest publicly owned utility. She is a member of PSEG’s Executive Officer Group and previously led the company’s federal and state regulatory functions, as well as managed its corporate, environmental, and labor/employment practices.

“We are very pleased to welcome Tammy to our board, given her considerable experience at one of New Jersey’s most community-oriented major companies,” said Tom Uhlman, Chairman of the CFNJ Board. “Her unique experience and legal acumen will offer us wonderful philanthropic insight for our continued leadership work on behalf of our state.”

Ms. Linde is past President of the Northeast Chapter of the Energy Bar Association and served as chair of the Energy Bar Association Electricity Regulation and Compliance Committee. She graduated from Seton Hall University School of Law with a Juris Doctorate and from Seton Hall University with a bachelor’s degree.

“I’ve seen firsthand how the Community Foundation amplifies the philanthropic impact of its corporate partners, as I’ve watched how they astutely manage PSEG’s Employee Crisis Fund,” said Linde. “Their precise stewarding of philanthropic funds is eclipsed only by their genuine desire to improve communities across our state. I look forward to being a part of the Foundation.”
