The Warm Jacket Fund at the Community Foundation of New Jersey (CFNJ) was created with a $6 million gift from an anonymous donor to provide safe and fun outdoor activities for New Jersey children in under-served communities during the winter months.

The Fund offsets the cost for students to learn to ski and experience an active learning environment at the National Winter Activity Center (NWAC) in Vernon, New Jersey. NWAC is dedicated to improving the health and fitness of youth through mentor-based instruction of winter sports activities. It delivers on its programs in partnership with the YMCA, Boys and Girls Clubs, local schools, and other organizations.
