HealtheVoices™ Impact Fund

Health-focused online communities and blogs inspire, educate, and mobilize both patients and caregivers. Patients look to them for support and help in managing their condition better.

The HealtheVoices Impact Fund was created by Johnson & Johnson to support innovative efforts of online health advocates who serve and assist online patient communities. Awards are available to U.S. citizens ages 18 and older or nonprofit organizations.

Applications will be accepted beginning May 5, and the deadline is July 7 at midnight ET. Applications will not be accepted past the due date, and the deadline will not be extended. Award winners will be notified by November 1.

Once you log into the CFNJ online portal to apply, look for the 2026 HealtheVoices Nonprofit Application or the 2026 HealtheVoices Individual Application and follow the instructions. For questions, contact Nancy Magee at nmagee@cfnj.org.

About the Fund

After our first few HealtheVoices conferences, it became clear that we could do more to support the important work done by advocates every day to assist patients. So, we set out to help provide resources to extend and support the reach of these advocates.

The Fund grants awards for projects that align with Johnson & Johnson’s charitable-giving mission to advance healing for patients. It supports innovative projects that:

  • Engage, inform, and empower patients
  • Coalesce and strengthen the advocate community
  • Create patient communities, combating stigma and isolation
  • Reach communities that are often marginalized or excluded
  • Provide education for patients on how to be an effective patient advocate

You can learn more about the parameters for funding and additional requirements by reading the fund brochure.

Application requirements

Please note that only U.S. citizens or nonprofits that meet specific criteria may submit an application. In addition:

  • Applicants must be age 18 or older.
  • Awards for applicants using the individual application cannot be awarded to an LLC or a nonprofit. All individual awards are considered taxable income.
  • Individual applicants cannot request that an award be given to a nonprofit organization.
  • When creating a new account in the online portal, individual applicants should list their name in the organization section as well as in the name section. There is no need for individuals to provide an organization name; a personal name can be used in that section.
