Impact 100 Garden State Announces 2019 Membership Results

April 10, 2019

Impact 100 Garden State is pleased to announce a record number of 345 women who have joined the organization for 2019. This represents an 80% renewal rate and 105 new members, the largest number since it’s founding year. Membership also now includes a wider geographic area, with members coming from Andover and Sparta in Sussex County to Elizabeth and Summit in Union County in addition to members from Morris, Passaic, and Somerset counties.

Members will be celebrating this milestone and be given an opportunity to socialize at a Members Party on Thursday, May 9, 2019 at the Frelinghuysen Arboretum Haggerty Education Center in Morristown from 6 to 8 pm. Young musicians from the Paterson Music Project, a past grant recipient, will perform and representatives from other past grant recipients will be on hand to meet and interact with members. There is free parking and members are asked to RSVP at RSVP@impact100gardenstate.org.

Impact 100 is a Special Project Fund of the Community Foundation of New Jersey, which supports charitable giving focused on making NJ communities stronger. Women work together to provide transformative grants to local non-profits in Morris, Passaic, Somerset, Sussex, and Union counties. Each member donates $1000 a year and together they make the impact of a $100,000 donation. Over seven years since Impact 100 Garden State was founded, the organization has grown from 135 members to now 345 members, and during that time provided over $1.35 million in grant money to 13 local non-profits.
