Some of the most incredible experiences of my lifetime included up close and personal experiences with threatened and endangered wildlife.
These life changing experiences included gorilla trekking in Rwanda and Uganda, photographing emperor penguins on the pack ice in Antarctica, and close encounters with elephants on numerous safaris in Africa.
These creatures face many challenges stemming from climate change, wildlife crime and other environmental factors and risk becoming extinct.
Contributions will be made to nonprofit organizations that:
- educate and empower local communities to ensure wildlife and people coexist and thrive,
- actively care for endangered animals that have been injured or abused,
- support law enforcement and security efforts to guard again illegal activities
- conduct research to improve scientific knowledge in order to guide conservation efforts and activities
