Impact 100 Names Nonprofit Finalists For $185,000 in Grants

September 10, 2014 Impact 100 Garden State, a philanthropic women’s organization for which the Community Foundation of New Jersey provides extensive administrative support, has selected nine nonprofit organizations as finalists for $185,000 in grants it will award in October. Impact 100 invited applications from nonprofits in Morris, Passaic, Somerset, and Sussex counties that were in search of funds for transformative programs aimed at helping their local communities and improving the quality of life for people in these counties.  …

Community Foundation Board Congratulates Dekker on ‘Most Influential’ Award

May 21, 2014 The Community Foundation of New Jersey’s (CFNJ) Board of Trustees today congratulated Hans Dekker, CFNJ’s president, for being named by Inside Jersey Magazine as one of the “most influential people in New Jersey.” A total of 106 New Jerseyans are on the list of influencers, which the magazine has dubbed, “Inside Jersey’s 100+ Club.” …

NJ Spotlight wins 4 awards from Garden State Journalists Association

May 1, 2014 NJ Spotlight, New Jersey’s premier online news and public policy source, has won four awards from the Garden State Journalists Association, including the organization’s top honor.
