CFNJ Helps Fund New Report on NJ Fiscal Challenges - image of reportCFNJ, in partnership with the Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation, the Fund for New Jersey, and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, was instrumental in the inclusion of New Jersey in the State Budget Crisis Task Force that examined the threats to near and long-term fiscal sustainability in six states.

The Task Force, led by Richard Ravitch and Paul A. Volcker, examined the powerful effects of Medicaid spending growth, the federal deficit reduction, underfunded retirement funds, tax bases/tax revenues, local government fiscal stress and state budget laws on state and local governments.
