Community Foundation of New Jersey Welcomes Amanda Kwai Pun as Chief Financial Officer

Morristown, NJ, October 23, 2024 — The Community Foundation of New Jersey (CFNJ) announced today that Amanda Kwai Pun has joined the organization as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Over nearly two decades, Kwai Pun has served in accounting director, staff accountant, and senior manager roles at various well-respected organizations, including IKEA and KPMG. She most recently served as Assistant Controller for Mars Wrigley North America, where she was responsible for financial reporting and financial controls, audit programs, and digital financial reporting tools. Kwai Pun is also highly experienced at successfully managing diverse multi-million portfolios and thriving in environments where organizations are called to grow and innovate.

“The breadth of Amanda’s experience in managing the financial portfolios of non-profit, public, and private organizations of all sizes will be a key asset for us,” said Harry O’Mealia, Chair of the CFNJ Board of Trustees. “We have 1,200 charitable funds and $900 million in assets. And last year, CFNJ made over $70 million in charitable grants to our communities and raised more than $130 million in new charitable assets. As we continue to expand, Amanda’s expertise will help us to meet the demands of the future and craft an organizational vision that will help our fundholders increase their philanthropic impact.”

Kwai Pun is well-versed in working with business leaders to evaluate accounting processes and improve financial processes, ensuring compliance with global accounting standards, and collaborating effectively with technical and business stakeholders at all levels.

As CFO, Kwai Pun’s responsibilities will include asset and donor development, risk management, strategic leadership, investment and client management, and human resources management.
