Impact 100 Announces Two Large Grants for 2014

April 14, 2014

Our friends at Impact 100 Garden State might want to think about a name change… that’s because they’ve far outpaced their goal of having 100 New Jersey women participate in their giving.

The group’s 2014 membership period has closed with 185 members and $185,000 in contributions.  As a result of this successful fundraising, Impact 100 will be awarding not one, but two transformative grants this year.  One will be for a total of $100,000 and the second for $85,000.

The application is available at www.impact100gardenstate.org.  Please note that an organization may apply for only one grant amount.

Prospective grant applicants are encouraged to register to attend Impact 100’s information session on April 22nd, from 8:30-10:30 a.m. at the Unitarian Fellowship located at 21 Normandy Heights Road in Morristown.  At the meeting, the group’s coordinators will explain the application and selection process in brief, followed by a break out session to answer specific questions. Register to attend at grants.impact100gardenstate@gmail.com.

Applications from nonprofit organizations are due by 5pm on May 16, 2014. Final selection will be determined and announced at Impact 100’s Annual Awards Celebration on October 8, 2014.  Details will be updated regularly at www.impact100gardenstate.org.
