Impact100 South Jersey Announces It Has Raised and Will Award $211,000 in Grants to Local Nonprofits in 2023

Impact100 South Jersey, a women’s collective giving Initiative, announced that for 2023 it had recruited 211 members, which will allow the group to award $211,000 to local nonprofits.

Since launching in 2017, Impact100 South Jersey has raised $1,035,360 million for organizations serving Burlington, Camden, Gloucester & Cumberland Counties. 2023 Members gathered Wednesday, January 11, for The Big Reveal and Celebration at the Camden County Boathouse in Pennsauken, NJ, to learn the results of its fall 2022 collective giving membership drive.

“It is an absolute thrill to have raised over $ 1 million one member at a time,” said Impact100 South Jersey President Kyle Ruffin, “We are proud to be a catalyst for South Jersey women who want to bring transformative change to local nonprofits by addressing their needs.”

Impact100 grant review volunteers have already begun inviting nonprofits to apply and managing applications for one $100,000 Core Mission Grant and two $55,000 General Operating Grants. The process will culminate at the Annual Meeting on June 21, when members will hear from finalists and vote to select the 2023 grant recipients. Grants will be awarded in three focus areas: Women, Children and Families, Arts & Culture, and Community Health & Well-Being.

Impact100 South Jersey is a women’s collective giving initiative that strives to recruit at least 100 women who donate $1,000 with the intention of awarding at least one $100,000 Core Mission Grant to a local organization each year. Impact100 South Jersey is a Field of Interest Fund at the Community Foundation of South Jersey.
