Morristown Festival of Books returns October 12-13, 2018

July 30, 2018

The popular Morristown Festival of Books will return on Friday, October 12th and Saturday, October 13th this year. Modeled after successful book festivals in other communities throughout the world, the Morristown Festival of Books brings together acclaimed authors with readers and book lovers. The 2018 Festival will feature a full roster of authors in Morristown, New Jersey, rain or shine. Authors will speak and answer questions in one-hour sessions at one of several convenient Morristown locations. Book sales and signings, following author presentations, will occur at a tent on the grounds of the historic Vail Mansion.

John Kerry to Keynote

The Festival is thrilled that former U.S. Senator and Secretary of State John Kerry will serve as its 2018 keynote speaker. Kerry will discuss his new memoir, Every Day Is Extra, which tells the story of his remarkable American life—from son of a diplomat to decorated Vietnam veteran, five-term United States senator, 2004 Democratic presidential nominee, and Secretary of State for four years—and reflects upon some of the most important events of our recent history.
