The mission of North Star Academy Charter School is to prepare each student for college through a rigorous college prep program that begins in kindergarten. Founded in 1997, there are now over 1,200 students located in three campuses in Newark, which include two elementary schools, three middle schools and one high school. 100% of the High School graduates attend college and the school has received national recognition for its standards of excellence.
