Welcoming our new CFO, Carolyn Lange

May 19, 2020

We at the Community Foundation of New Jersey are pleased to welcome our new Chief Financial Officer, Carolyn Lange.

Carolyn’s decades of experience in finance and business strategy will be an asset to the Foundation as we continue to build a creative spectrum of investment offerings for fundholders and other philanthropic partners. Carolyn will also strengthen our ability to accept non-publicly traded gifts and maximize tax benefits for our fundholders.

Just prior to joining the Foundation, Carolyn served as the Chief Financial Officer for ByteGrid, a national data center company. She also served for the past ten years on the board of the nonprofit Friends of the Arlington Planetarium, including most recently as President. Over the course of her career, Carolyn has held a variety of asset management and finance positions at organizations ranging in size from Goldman Sachs to start-up entities. She has even served as a STEM Program consultant to the Arlington Public Schools.

We very much look forward to working with Carolyn to ensure the Community Foundation of New Jersey remains one of the most-highly rated community foundations in the United States, and one of the top-rated nonprofit organizations in New Jersey.

Carolyn may be reached at clange@cfnj.org or at 973-267-5533, Extension 3004.

Special thanks to our hard-working finance team who continue to serve our fundholders and other philanthropic partners, especially Joyce Jonat (jjonat@cfnj.org), Patty Heath (pheath@cfnj.org) and Dorothy Hoolihan (dhoolihan@cfnj.org). And thank you to our former CFO, Susan Soldivieri, for helping to manage a seamless transition.

Please join us in welcoming Carolyn Lange to the Community Foundation of New Jersey!
