Impact 100 Garden State Seeks Women Who Make a Difference

Impact 100 Garden State is recruiting new members who want to use the power of collective giving to change lives.

Impact 100 Garden State, an all-woman organization dedicated to collective giving, is expanding its 2021 membership drive with a series of virtual “Meet & Mingle” events. The first event is on Thursday, October 22, from 7 to 8 p.m. Women who are interested in making an impact may RSVP to

The organization, which has donated more than $2 million to nonprofits in Morris, Passaic, Somerset, Sussex and Union counties since its founding eight years ago, is seeking to expand its reach. “Now more than ever, nonprofits need our help, and we are energized to support them through our group of women who make a difference,” says Deborah Seme, President, Impact 100 Garden State.

The Impact 100 Garden State model combines the donations of individual members to create grants with a significant impact. “We call this ‘the MultipliHer’ effect,” says Seme.

This year, the organization distributed three separate $100,000 grants. Recipients are Cornerstone Family Programs, for the Teen Pathways to Brighter Futures program; Homeless Solutions, Inc., for the Next Level Shelter Expansion Project; and Zufall Health Center for Mobile Meals for Dover Families in Need.

Over the years, Impact 100 Garden State grants have supported entrepreneurship, emergency shelters, performance arts, making healthy food available to those in need and much more. For a full list of grants, visit
