Supporting documents for CFNJ Scholarship Deferment

Every deferment application requires supporting documentation for verification purposes.  Please use the list below and include the necessary documentation with your CFNJ Scholarship Deferment/ Medical-Military Leave of Absence application.  All deferral applications must be submitted prior to the July 15^th deadline.

Gap Year

Students requesting a scholarship deferment for a college gap year must be accepted into a college/university and be approved by that college.  Please provided approval documentation from your college.

Medical Reasons

Students requesting a scholarship deferment for medical reasons must include a letter from a medical professional explaining why the student is unable to attend college,

Military Service

Students requesting a scholarship deferment for military service can provide either their official military orders or a letter from their military leader.
