Eva Turbiner is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Zufall Health, a position she has held since 2006. During her tenure, Zufall has expanded from one location to eight and now serves more than 30,000 patients.
Ms. Turbiner came to Zufall Health with over 20 years of experience in the health care industry. From 2000 to 2006, she served as Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Hudson River HealthCare, a fourteen-site federally qualified health center in New York’s Hudson Valley. Prior to that, she was President of Palisades Planning Associates, Inc., a consulting firm specializing in planning, business development and project implementation for health care organizations. Her clients included hospitals, community health centers and managed care organizations throughout the U.S.
Ms. Turbiner is a board member of the New Jersey Primary Care Association (NJPCA) and is a veteran of healthcare policy on the state and federal level. She has served on a variety of National Association of Community Health Centers and NJPCA committees to ensure that the legislative priorities of health centers and the patients they serve remain a strategic local, state and national focus. Ms. Turbiner has also served as a board member for numerous health care-related organizations during her career, including the Hudson Valley Perinatal Network Board and the Rockland County Department of Health Priorities Advisory Board.
Ms. Turbiner holds BA and MA degrees from Temple University and completed candidacy requirements for a PhD in Public Policy Analysis at the University of Pennsylvania.
